WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Paul Moulton, President
Indoor Sky llc
I’ve worked with Lou and Aaron for five years, their design and product development work was a huge factor in bringing my new product concept to life. From concept drawings to 3D printing to full prototype testing Bassler WPW is one of very few full service, independent R&D houses still operating today.
As a classic family business they are also delightful to work with!
Paul Koster, CEO
Selmax Corporation
We have done many design projects over the years with Bassler WPW. They always bring great creativity and experience to the table. They work hard to find the right solution to make the project a success.
WHO WE ARE
OUR
EXPERIENCE
A core component of our team is our ability to transfer verbal and sketched product ideas into production parts. We know the steps necessary to prove your design and produce it. We pride ourselves in our experience with many manufacturing processes, and often suggest ways to increase production while lowering cost.
OUR
ABILITIES
We integrate product design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing, making it massively efficient to continue development of your plan. Our abilities that now thrive in a 3-dimensional world were built upon the experience, skill, and talent of traditional draftsman. Our visual impact ignites when we combine technology with an artist's touch to add realism and quality.
OUR
TEAM
We have a diverse team of highly experienced creative, mechanical, practical thinking industrial designers who assist each client through every conceptual stage. Hand sketched, 2d and 3d drawings, engineered Solidworks and CAD files as well as realistic renderings. We will provide working prototypes.
OUR
PROCESS
After learning about your product and needs, we will develop a custom proposal specific to your product that outlines the stages, costs, and timeframe to develop your new idea. When choosing us to develop your product, we will help you navigate the plan for getting your product to market.
WHAT WE DO
Because we are a job shop, our understanding of, and experience with all types of patterns, parting, molds, draft, and the various casting and molding processes, places us in a unique position. Our master patternmakers are able to combine new technologies with traditional methods to produce patterns and molds that today's manufacturers demand.
WE ARE UNIQUE
If you are an inventor, entrepreneur or company with an idea or new concept, we can design, engineer, prototype, manufacture and assist you in marketing your product through our proven step-by-step development process.
FROM HUMBLE BEGININGS TO MASTERS OF CREATIVITY.
Louis M. Bassler established Bassler in 1970 to serve architects and builders, by providing models, renderings, drafting, logos, and graphics to a wide range of both local and national companies. Soon the business expanded to include models, mock-ups, and prototypes for industrial manufacturers.
During the 80's, increased services demanded larger facilities. A new building was constructed and Williamsport pattern works was acquired in 1990 with the added expertise of master patternmakers. This permitted another expansion to include industrial patterns for metal foundries, and the broad field of plastics.
